Back Pain – Five months ago Thomas was referred to me by my dear friend Tina who has been training with me in Kickboxing since 1997. She mentioned that she had a client who was like a son to her and he was suffering from severe back pain. She said he wanted to get stronger physically, but he couldn’t touch his toes because of his back problems. Tina has known me to help many people with back issues and she was confident I could help him so I invited him to stop by.
Thomas came by my studio one day and explained his history. He had already visited several physical therapists and doctors seeking help for his back pain, but had no luck correcting the problem. Thomas thought he needed private sessions with me in order to overcome his struggles, but I recommended my group training program because after talking to him I felt he would enjoy that much better. I incorporated Yoga stretches into his program, as well as a gradual strength training regimen within my fitness group class.
Back Pain Recovery and Flexibility
We began our training with 3 sessions per week, which included a half hour of stretching during my Martial Arts class. After only two weeks some of his pain already subsided and he was able to touch his toes. Checkout his first video below.
Five months of proper Yoga stretching and Kickboxing classes, relieved Thomas of all of his back pain. He is now very flexible, can bend all the way forward and place his palms on the ground. Thomas has even added my Fighter Muay Thai classes to his Kickboxing sessions and it’s exciting to see his transformation. Checkout his workout video below.
