Life Style Change – “Juicing For Weight Loss ”
Work your way into the juice fast by following the meal plan below:
Week 1 – Start juicing only for breakfast; Eat light lunch and dinner.
Week 2 – Eat light breakfast and lunch; juicing for dinner only.
Week 3 – Juicing for all meals during week 3.
Week 4 – Eat light breakfast and lunch; juicing for dinner only.
For the first week, wean off heavy lunch and dinner; eat a banana for lunch with a few nuts, and well balanced salad for dinner or egg white omelet with veggies. Please make sure to eat small light meal and every two to three hour.
Drink 64 oz. of water each day.
Foods that you should NOT eat during this program:
Do not consume: sweets, breads, butter, rice, potatoes, pasta, or any starches.
Eliminate alcohol and keep caffeine intake to a minimum. Drink more herbal and green tea.
Use organic prodoce, peel or wash well.
Below recipe below makes 28 oz. Use 14 oz. for one meal and other 14 oz. for another meal. During the full week of juice fast – double up the amount of juice so that you drink more throughout the day.
- ½ cucumber
- 4 carrots
- 2 apples
- 1 pear
- 3 celery stalks
- 1 small piece of ginger (less that 1”)
- 4 leaves of chard or kale
- ½ package of baby spinach
