Martial Art Warriors And Great American Teach in 2015!
Master Mehrdad’s Martial Arts and his Black Belt Hap-Ki-Do and Kung Fu students participated in the 2015 Great American Teach In at various Pinellas County Schools including Shore Acre Elementary, Saw Grass Elementary, Bay Point Middle School and Ridge Crest Elementary. This year marks the 21st consecutive year of participating in this wonderful event that allows young students the opportunity to learn about careers and hobbies. The demand for our academy to participate each year continues to grow, so this year we invited several of our advanced students joined in our efforts to allow us the opportunity to visit multiple schools at once. All of our instructors and students had an enriching experience showing the children various techniques, discussing the origins of Marital Arts and how they can benefit with the practice. The overarching goal of Master Mehrdad’s Martial Arts is to help children grow to be more confident and disciplined while understanding the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The Martial Arts school hopes to be able to participate in more events to help children see their potential. Master Mehrdad extends his deepest gratitude to all of his advanced students for helping such a wonderful cause and to spread the word of positiveness through teaching children about anti-bullying, traditional Martial Arts, humbleness, honor and respect. Thank you Martin Bubenik, Carlee Reynolds, Mary Kate Rea Thompson, Soudabah Moayedi, Robert Smida, Eric Brown and Jason Robinson.
Master Mehrdad would also like to thank his young ambitious current students at various schools who assisted their Martial Arts instructors throughout the day… thank you Kira Brown, Leila Moayedi, Hailee Oertel, Leila Hamdaoui and Kordell Simmons.
